Preparing
for the ski season will help you have more fun on the slopes and
protect you from injury. Here are five areas to focus on for preseason
readiness: physical and mental conditioning, proper nutrition, muscle
recovery and staying limber.
Start your physical conditioning by building your aerobic base.
Running, biking and swimming are great activities to prepare you for
the aerobic demands of skiing, especially if you are planning on
visiting high altitude resorts. Add muscle building to your aerobic
