Drew Brantley of BAM Adventures tells us of a recent trip with some Mountain Khakis
In February, BAM (Becoming A Man) Adventures took 12 father-son pairs into the perilous terrain of the North Carolina Mountains for 4 days of Adventure with nothing but Mountain Khakis, great food, friendship, a grill that had its own trailer, empowerment, and an opportunity to strengthen the bond between fathers and sons. The 4 Adventure filled days included pork filled breakfasts, ropes courses, potato guns, over 20 racks of baby backs, disc golf tournaments, outdoor cooking, ultimate games not for the faint of heart, poker tournaments that make Phil Hellmuth Jr. quake, brandings (don’t worry mom’s no people were branded in the making of this Adventure) and some great discussions between fathers and sons.
Becoming A Man (BAM) is a non-profit organization that is committed to helping equip the next generation of strong healthy men to be leaders in their families, schools, communities, and work. BAM Adventures are designed with 3 purposes: 1) To Empower the sons, 2) To Strengthen the bond between the father and son, and 3) To have an Adventure! All men need adventure in life! We aren’t able to host BAM Adventures without the support of organizations such as Mountain Khakis who are committed to helping the next generation.
Our leaders on our BAM Adventures often work 17 hour days for 5-7 days in a row! Our schedules are jam packed and it is critical that we have equipment and gear that can keep up with our demands. Mountain Khakis are not only the most comfortable work pants that I have found, but they are the only ones that are regularly able to stand up to the grueling demands of a BAM Adventure. The best thing about a pair of Mountain Khakis is that I can wear them all day on a BAM Adventure, then change shirts and take my fiancée out to eat. Thanks for supporting the next generation and making a great product.
Glad MK can be a part of this Adventure.
