New Year's Warm and Fuzzy

IN 2009, MK was a PROUD sponsor of the 24 Hours of Booty event in Charlotte, NC and Columbia, MD and we had the honor of seeing exatly where I support went.

 

"We want to thank Mountain Khakis again for your support of our events this year. Without your help we would not have had the success that we saw this year – raising over $1MM for the second straight year!

 

With your help we have begun to fund the new Carolinas Cancer Wellness Program powered by 24 Hours of Booty at the Dowd YMCA which allows cancer patients that are currently going through or have recently completed chemotherapy to exercise in a safe and comfortable environment. The dedicated space at the YMCA allows the program participants to receive one-on-one attention. 24 Hours of Booty looks to take the Charlotte blueprint and help fund similar programs in Columbia, MD and Atlanta, GA."

“I currently attend a kayaking high school and every quarter we go to a different country - right now I am in Chile.  On the search for a 30 foot waterfall in the mountains of Chile, we stumbled on a concentration camp from Pinochet's rule.  We found the waterfall but the water level was to low for my skill level so I decided not to run it.  Instead, I looked around the camp in my favorite pair of pants, MK Alpine Utility Pants.”

RECAP: World Championship Duck Calling Contest

“The Stage Crew at the 74th annual World's Championship Duck Calling Contest in Stuttgart, Arkansas, loved the Mountain Khakis.  The contest last more than 6 hours and comfort and durability is important. Mountain Khakis did the job!  Of course, the contest is part of the week-long Wings Over the Prairie Festival, which includes 6 other duck calling contests.  It was a great success.  Thank you Mountain Khakis for helping make our event such a success!”
